Oracle centralized all the log file in ADR location :
In general ADR pointing to $ORACLE_BASE/diag/…
1.Most clusterware daemons/processes logs are in /diag/crs//crs/trace
=>> the alert.log should be reviewed first as it contains critical information
Except alert.log , rest of log file is end with “.trc” from 12c
In same location all of below daemon process trace are available
CRS
HAS
EVM
CSS
GIPC
OCRCHECK
OCRCONFIG
CRSCTL
GPNP
oclumon
Logger
etc
2.Most clusterware daemons/processes pid and output file are in /crsdata//output
3.Most clusterware daemons/processes core dumps are in /diag/crs//crs/cdump
4.Most clusterware daemons/processes incidents are in /diag/crs//crs/incident
====>>>> instead of renaming all history files, while rotating,
the active one will be renamed and oldest one will be deleted so the total is still 11
